Last week the Fleet Owner 500 awards were handed out during a reception held here in conjunction with the first-ever North American Commercial Vehicle (NACV) show – awards designed to highlight the role of private fleets in the trucking industry and the U.S. economy.
The winner and runner-up in the category of Construction both happen to be Zonar customers. The winner Pike Electric, a leader in storm restoration, has crews across the south-east region working hard to repair the Southeast’s electrical grid after Hurricane Irma. Pike uses Zonar to track and trace where its vehicle are and how to best allocate them. It is also one of the largest providers of Energy Solutions in the U.S. The company provides engineering, construction, and maintenance for distribution and transmission powerlines and substations, or EPC for turn-key and renewable energy projects.
The runner-up in the Construction Category was Henkels & McCoy.
