What’s your job title? Product Marketer
What do you do at Zonar? I work with Zonar’s internal teams to produce targeted marketing collateral. This includes content for product launches, presentations, sales initiatives, email campaigns and more.
How long have you worked for Zonar? A little less than a year. I started on 2/29.
Why did you choose to come to Zonar? I moved from Dallas, Texas to Seattle with my now wife for both of our careers. What attracted me to Zonar is that it’s a small but growing company. There is plenty of opportunity to make a difference and I could tell the people that work here are great. Plus, the technology space we’re in is growing. It’s a good place to be.
What’s the best part of working for Zonar? So far, it’s been the people. I’m lucky to be a part of a very supportive team.
What would you recommend to someone who was about to interview at Zonar? I would highly recommend it. It’s a fun place to work and it’s a company where you can leave your mark. New ideas are accepted and encouraged.
What’s your passion outside of work? I’m a big hockey fan (a Detroit Red Wings fan in particular) and I still enjoy hitting the ice when I can. Detroit is my hometown and I make sure to represent the city when it comes to sports. I also enjoy getting to know Seattle with my wife, especially the restaurants and hiking spots. We love our new city!
