The ELD Mandate goes into effect at the end of the year and a swarm of “new ELD providers” are jumping into the market to get a piece of the compliance pie.
As a trucking company, ELD compliance is on you, not your ELD vendor, so be sure to take your time and know that every fleet that is subject to the ELD mandate should partner with their ELD supplier. Purchasing and implementing an ELD device on your own may not a wise strategy. Make sure that your device will be compliant by the adoption date or whether your existing device can be grandfathered in.
